so you are sitting at a train station. in the middle of an empty desert. nothing but the sound of the wind. the tracks go off in a straight line in both directions as far as the eye can see to the horizon. you look down and think, is that the train? do i hear the train coming? are the tracks vibrating? yeah, i think so. maybe. am i hallucinating? no. it must be. it's gotta be. right? because i need it to take me where i need to be, want to be, should be, could be. and you keep looking at the time, but time isn't changing. you keep waiting and waiting. you are getting angry and upset that the train is late because you need to go, you need to get there, wherever that may be, whatever that goal is. so you sit, you wait. you blame your problems on the train, on anything and everything but yourself. then you look down at a puddle and see your reflection staring back at you. since you have been sitting there all this time, your body has aged. you don't feel different. time hasn't moved, the date on the calendar has not changed. and yet the train still hasn't arrived. so do you bring yourself down? do you get upset? who is that for? so maybe then you realize, there is no train. it's never going to get there. it doesn't exist. nor the track, nor the desert, nor your body or the reflection. just your soul. you are the train, you are the conductor, the driver, the passenger, you are everything. you have feet to walk on. so don't assume you need to stay on a rigid path, down a track to a single destination. maybe a place everyone tricked you into believing you need to go. you need to be free to walk wherever your soul must go, wants to go. time does not exist, it is merely a perception. so it's not about waiting for something to come and bring you what you need. its not about getting angry when things dont go as planned. its about going with the flow, staying positive, and making your own path. stop listening to your parents, teachers, friends. because what do they know? just because someone has sat on the bench longer, waiting for the train, does NOT mean they realize it doesn't exist...
